Larger quantities

When your shipment is too big for general cargo

Online, transportami lets you book general cargo: up to six packages with a total of 3,000 kg, no more than 1,250 kg per package. Your shipment shares the lorry with other shipments. If your shipment is larger, request the transport as a part load or full truckload from our customer service. These transports cannot be booked online.

Using the form further down, you send us all the details at once. For up to six packages, on the other hand, you see your price straight away in the calculator.

The difference

General cargo, part load or full truckload?

General cargo

Up to six packages with a total of 3,000 kg. Your shipment shares the lorry with other shipments. Bookable online, with an instant price.

Part load

Your goods take up part of the loading space, for example from seven pallets or with a total weight of more than 3,000 kg. On request.

Full truckload

Your shipment uses the entire loading space of a lorry; no other shipments travel with it. On request.

Your request

The details we need

With complete details, our customer service can review your request without follow-up questions. Please tell us:

  • The pickup and delivery locations with postcode and country
  • Your preferred pickup date
  • The number and type of packages, for example Euro pallets or mesh pallet boxes
  • The dimensions and weight of each package and the total weight
  • What you are shipping
  • Anything special at pickup and delivery, such as whether there is a loading dock or a forklift and whether access is restricted

Dangerous goods

Dangerous goods under the ADR, the European agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods by road, cannot be booked online either. For these, too, you send an individual request using the form.

Frequently asked questions about part loads and full truckloads

General cargo consists of several small or medium-sized packages that are usually combined with other shipments into a groupage load and transported that way. With a full truckload, on the other hand, only your shipment uses the entire loading or vehicle space, with no other shipments on board. With transportami you book general cargo online; for part loads and full truckloads, please send an individual enquiry to our customer service.
With transportami you book general cargo on a pallet, in a mesh pallet box or in an IBC, with up to six packages weighing 3,000 kg in total per shipment. Part loads, full truckloads and dangerous goods cannot be booked online; for these, send an enquiry to our customer service. Our terms and conditions contain a list of goods that may not be transported with us (e.g. household removal goods).

Yes. Transports within Germany, between Germany and Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands or Poland, and within Switzerland can be booked online.
